No, we either get our speed throttled (online gaming is still possible - just don't try to play an FPS) or charged per MB. Honestly, I never even hit my cap, because I rarely download stuff.

I hit my cap every single month... Sometimes a couple of days before it resets, and sometimes I have an "oops" month and accidently forget to check my usage. I remember a few years ago in "convict land" we didn't have capped connections, but they're definitely normal now..

The worst thing is the companies that sell 400mg plans to people who don't understand how little that is, and then charge them by the meg downloaded afterwards. My mother in law downloaded over a gig in her first month, and ended up with a bill over $100.

Learn to read better, please. I think i(and the article) pretty clearly stated that it's the 15mbps package with the 40GB cap. The cap they'd put on the 7mbps would, obviously, be alot lower.

And perhaps it may be hard to get in australia but this has nothing to do with australia. And, to be blunt, i'm not concerned about australia. I'm concerned about here, where i am.
